Popis: The Supply Chain Management is recognized as an important area for innovation and investment in Information of Technology (IT) area. In this sense, the companies that provide IT services can provide the technological needs of some companies that, for economic reasons, prefer to subcontract these services. The goal of this study is understand, through a case study, how a IT outsourcing company enters into a supply chain. As main conclusions, it could be pointed that these companies have a niche market not yet fully explored. As a result, there has been increased competition, which makes these companies to be concerned in offering differentiated services. Moreover, for the process be successful and the risks be reduced, it’s necessary the involvement of high administration in all stages of the process.
