Popis: Calculations have shown that the increment in axial stress in the sizing zone of draw plates increases relative to the stress at the end of the working cone when there is an increase in the length of this zone or the friction coefficient or a decrease in the draft, the angle of the working cone, the strain-hardening coefficient, or the stress created by counter-tension. In the refined approach proposed here for evaluating the mechanical parameters of the drawing operation, it is necessary to account for the frictional force in the cylindrical zone of the draw plate.
