Volatile Components of the Essential Oils of Four Chinese Species in the Genus Asarum (Aristolochiaceae)

Popis:	The volatile components of the essential oils of four Chinese species in the genus Asarum were investigated by means of GC-MS. Large amounts of elemicin, safrole, and 2-undecane to gether with several mono- and sesquiterpenes were identified in the essential oils. It was found that Chinese Asarum species is similar phytochemically to the genus Heterotropa in Japan.
