Popis: | The structure of a promising space system intended for ice and hydrometeorological observations in the Russian Arctic is described. The onboard package includes a side‐looking synthetic‐aperture radar, optical scanners, and a microwave radiometer. A distinctive feature of the system is the capability for on‐line delivery of medium‐resolution (about 300 m) imagery for a broad scanning swath (about 500 km). |
