Popis: | In this paper, a unit-cell for transmitarray antenna is presented. It is formed by a combination of C-patch and C-slot which are printed on two substrates separated with an air gap. The element is designed to provide two values of transmission phase with a step of 180° according to ON/OFF state of switches. The simulation results show that the element can achieve 1-bit phase at 12 GHz with a bandwidth of −3 dB of about 5%. A transmitarray antenna is also simulated at X-band to verify the performance of the unit cells. The simulated results show a good radiation pattern and excellent beam-steering capability. |
