Popis:	A stock-recruitment relationship for Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar in Miramichi River, New Brunswick, is described. Angling catches of kelts or black Atlantic salmon were used as an indication of spawning stock, and densities of small parr determined from electrofishing surveys were used as an index of recruitment. The linear correlation between the two variables indicated that the Miramichi River has received inadequate egg depositions in recent years (1969-1982).
