Traditional electrode materials used in electrochemical and electrochemiluminescent (ECL) water assays have a number of limitations. Among the promising solutions are electrode modification and new fabrication technologies of electrode materials. In this work, the results of the investigation of nanodiamond electrode material for electrochemical and electrochemiluminescent sensors are presented. A new kind of electrode material for electrochemical and electrochemiluminescent assays is nitrogen doped diamond-like films that are obtained using plasma vapor deposition process. The results of material properties study are very promising for applications of this material in different electrochemical analytical assays, for example, biomedical and ecological assays in water samples. Good behavior of nanodiamond electrode material in water assays allows obtaining high analytical characteristics of sensors based on the proposed material that was successfully tested for bilirubin detection. |
