The topic of the final qualifying work: "Mathematical support of odor threshold determination systems".This work is devoted to the presentation of a mathematical model of the optimal number of testers to determine the odor threshold.Tasks that were solved during the work:Analysis of the subject area and scientific literaturePreparation of a group of testers and measurement of the odour threshold on several substances.Processing of the results obtained.Determination of the optimal number of testers to determine the threshold of odor detection.We considered the further development of the probabilistic model in systems of the "electronic nose" type.The odour detection threshold of the test team members was measured using two odorants: butanol and dimethyl ether. Using the confidence interval for the median and the confidence interval for the probability, the boundaries for the margin of error for determining the threshold of odor detection were obtained. We calculated the optimal number of testers, taking into account the significance and costs. We considered the use of the scheme presented in the work for determining the threshold of odor detection, which is the basis of a probabilistic model of the functioning of systems of the "electronic nose" type of the presence of odor in the analyzed sample. |
