Popis: The melting and pouring of liquid molten metal into the mould is part of the casting process. So, care should be taken while selecting the mould material and method of moulding. Due to the better frugality of sand moulds, it is mostly used for ferrous and nonferrous metals production, because metallic moulds wear out too quickly. Sand castings are preferably used for low and medium-size production because die casting and permanent moulds have higher tooling costs. The type of molten metal, the casting method, the ease of access to moulding material, the core and mould manufacturing equipment, and quality criteria all influence the bonding mechanism and mould material chosen. In the optimization of the moulding system, detailed understandings all of these elements are required. This article discusses the processing of moulding sand reclamation systems and environmental issues with different resin binder systems.
