In the given work the essence of the formation of grammatical competence through pair work among students of non-linguistic areas at English classes is stated. Definitions and characteristics of grammatical competence are given. The methodological approaches to the formation of grammatical competence have been studied. The didactic possibilities of the pair work format in teaching grammar are considered. The principles of the formation of grammatical competence through the format of pair work are formulated. An experiment was conducted, including the development and application of sets of grammatical exercises for students of non-linguistic directions. The results were analyzed. During the analysis of the results, it was revealed that the developed set of exercises is more suitable for improving and developing grammatical competence from an intermediate to a high level. For further research, it is advisable to expand the sample of students, pre-divide them into subgroups according to the level of training and conduct this pedagogical experiment again.â |
