Obtaining Nanostructured Materials by Heat Treatment of Amorphous Zirconium-Based Alloy

Popis: The crystallization parameters (glass transition temperature (Tg), crystallization temperature (Tx), activation energy of crystallization (Ea), and crystallization enthalpy (ΔHx)) of the Zr62.9Cu17.7Ni9.7Al7.5Ti2.2 bulk amorphous alloy were determined by the method of differential thermal analysis (DTA). It was shown that by changing the temperature–time regimes of processing of amorphous alloys, it is possible to obtain composite materials with different ratio of amorphous and nanocrystalline phases. The structure, physical, and mechanical properties had been studied.
