Popis: This is an independent, service evaluation of a change in timing of the ‘Integrated Health & Education Review’ in one English county. The 2-2½ year Integrated Health & Education Review is the final, scheduled universal contact within the national Healthy Child Programme (HCP) before a child starts school. This review is mandated by government to take place when a child is 2-2½ years; however, with the agreement of Public Health England, one county has moved this review to 3-3¼ years. This was done to increase uptake of the review (because more children will be in childcare settings at 3-3¼ years) and to better enable messages about 'school readiness' to be acted on by families (because by 3-3¼ years, a child will be closer to school starting age). This is a mixed method study involving the analysis of routine administrative data, and the collection of qualitative data through interviews and focus groups. This registration concerns the analyses of routinely collected administrative data to explore whether doing the review at 3-3¼ years increases uptake and school readiness. The latter will be measured through the government's Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP) scores.
