Popis:	A novel one-pot synthesis of functionalized perfluoroalkylated 1,4-alkadienes via the Reformatsky reaction of unsaturated halo esters with fluorinated β-ketophosphonium salts is described. This new methodology provides a four-carbon homologation giving functionalized perfluoroalkylated 1,4-alkadienes exclusively in 37–55% yields (three steps).
