Popis:	Quality of Service (QOS) is a measure of the ability of the power system to reliably provide loads electrical power with the power continuity required by the loads. QOS recognizes that different loads can tolerate different power interruption durations. This paper reviews QOS concepts as described in IEEE 1662–2008 and IEEE 1709–2010, describes methods for employing QOS in the design of shipboard power systems, and presents modeling and simulation considerations.
