Popis:	A patient with acute myelogenous leukemia is described whose chief complaint during most of his illness was dyspnea. Detailed studies of pulmonary function demonstrated the fully developed pathophysiologic derangement of an "alveolar-capillary block." Postmortem examination revealed extensive leukemic infiltration of the alveolar-capillary interface.
