Popis: | Technical details of the preparation of an ingot of 112Sn from metallic powder is discussed in details. The prepared ingot is used to fabricate the self-supporting and 208Pb-backed 112Sn targets, which are successfully used in two in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy experiments to study the structure of 114Te and 142Tb nuclei. |
