Popis: During the last two centuries, more than 40 constitutive models of liquids have been developed using mechanical, thermomechanical, and mathematical approaches. Some of these had practical applications to rheology for condensed matter, while some were strictly an exercise in mathematics. The main objective of this chapter is to develop a new constitutive model more appropriate to the events at FDS-double emulsions interfaces and at small separations. This model is based on the fundamental principles of electrodynamics, including an almost forgotten dynamical device called a memristor. A new theoretical concept is postulated and applied to the selected FDS-double emulsion system, which is then consequently considered as a memristive system. In addition, Marangoni instabilities of the first and second order and their possible electrical analogues were modified in order to facilitate further understanding of the coalescence and electrocoalescence phenomena.
