Popis: The research aims to clear the influence of wheel surface conditions on the ductile-mode grinding of fine ceramics with coarse grain size diamond wheel. The wheel used is #140-mesh wheel. The increase of cutting edge ratio contributes to some extent to decrease the occurance of grinding cracks and to improve the surface roughness. The ductile-mode grinding without grinding cracks can be done at higher table speed for larger cutting edge ratio.
