Popis: | The characteristics of fission fragments of various highly-excited nuclei with 119 ≤ A ≤ 218 , which are formed by γ - and α -captures, and by fusion–fission reactions, are discussed in details. The yields of fission fragments of these nuclei are related to the number of states of the two-fragment systems at the two-body saddle points. The various experimental distributions of fission fragments are well described in the model. |
