Popis: The article describes the experience of teaching a number of disciplines to students of engineering specialties using distance learning methods. It is believed that such disciplines as descriptive geometry, resistance of materials, physics, electrical engineering, strength calculations, etc. cannot be converted to online format. The article provides examples of online teaching descriptive geometry, physics, work in BIM programs, numerical methods for calculating building structures to future design engineers and civil engineers at the Russian University of Transport. The problems and prospects of such a teaching method are considered.
