Popis: | Trifluoromethyl/halide exchange has been studied for (CF3)nSnX4 − n (n = 1, 2; X = Cl, Br, I) by 19F NMR spectroscopy at elevated temperature and has been utilized for an improved synthesis of (CF3)2SnBr2. The otherwise not readily accessible (CF3)3SnBr has been obtained in high yield from (CF3)4Sn and tetrakis(p-tolyl)stannane, followed by low-temperature bromination. |
