Popis:	First, we will discuss the important lemma of Fisher, which is the basis for our use of degrees of freedom when estimating parameters by making fits to experimental data. We will then discuss the maximum likelihood method and quote some general theorems concerning the efficiency and bias of estimates. Finally, we will examine sufficient statistics, and the testing and comparing of hypotheses using likelihood ratios.
