Popis: | The structure and tribological properties at dry sliding friction conditions of the layers made from B83 babbitt alloy and B83–0.25 wt % B composition material prepared through arc welding have been studied. Introduction of boron has provided dispersion of structural components of babbitt and change in the morphology of SnSb and Cu3Sn intermetallic phases, which has retained the friction coefficient of the welded layer at the level of industrial alloy along with a simultaneous decrease in the wear intensity by 40%. |
