Popis: The rates of diffusion of carbon-14 in uranium monocarbide are described by the equation, D c = 0.02 exp −50000/RT , over the temperature range, 1200 to 1940 °C. The rates of diffusion of uranium-235 in uranium monocarbide are described by the equation, D u = 0.0013 exp −64000/RT , over the temperature range, 1600 to 2120 °C. The data obtained with respect to diffusion of carbon in a chemical gradient in uranium monocarbide are described by the expression, D uc = 0.0002 exp −22000/RT , over the temperature range, 1200 to 2100 °C.
