Popis: | The lower temperatures used in isomerization, below 200 /sup 0/C, makes it possible to extend the service life of equipment that could not be continued in operation at temperatures of 480-520 C that are typical in reforming. This paper examines the feasibility and desirability of reconstructing L-24-300 and L-35-5 reformers for the low-temperature isomerization of an IBP-62 C cut in the simplest version of this process, single-pass without recycle of the unconverted part of the feed. It finds that as a result of reconstruction, the quality of the commercial automotive gasolines is improved, and the technicoeconomic indices of gasoline production are raised. |
