Popis:	The plastic deformation of styrene-methylmethacrylate random copolymers has been studied as a function of comonomer composition and compared to the behaviour of PS and PMMA homopolymers. Activation parameters derived from a thermodynamic and kinetic analysis of plastic flow reveal the strong influence of the MMA units in controlling the elementary deformation event.
