| Popis: | The Soviet Union carried out a comprehensive programme of exploration of the Moon, Venus and Mars. In the early days of the Russian Federation, there were extensive plans for missions to the Moon, Mars and the outer solar system, as well as for science missions in Earth orbit, notably the Koronas programme of solar observatories. Economic difficulties, though, meant that with the exception of Koronas, these missions could not be funded and few took place. |
