Popis:	Geographical location The Jonglei Canal project is located in the Democratic Republic of Sudan, about 800 km south of the capital Khartoum. The project comprises a new canal roughly between Malakal and Bor, and implementation of various structures. The canal — 360 km long — is a short cut of the White Nile, passing the large Sudd marshes along the east side.
