Popis: | Software development organizations are focusing on improving the process of software development so that the resultant software is of high quality and the development cost is low from the viewpoint of the competitive advantage. Software process improvement (SPI) is a methodical and continuous improvement approach for the software development processes to develop quality software. SPI establishes a relationship between process maturity and product quality. SPI provides improvement through knowledge creation and collaboration. In flourishing SPI effort Knowledge management is an important element. This paper presents and discusses the various ideas and models for SPI and specifies how knowledge management is significant for SPI. |
