Medicinal Prescription System (MPS) uses the necessary framework provided by the Expert System including knowledge base, rules, working memory and inference engine efficiently for correct diagnosis and prescription. One of the important steps during the verification, validation, and evaluation of MPS, is Rule Base refinement. In this paper, authors have tried to formulate the Rule Base (RB) Refinement Scheme for their proposed Medicinal Prescription System (MPSAT) and demonstrated how it can be carried out effectively using ES building tools. Different validation approaches, case-by-case resolution strategies, priorities of rules conditions, reusability of rules, conflict resolution, and refinement at different levels are used innovatively to verify, validate, and evaluate the MPSAT. This RB refinement Scheme further recommends the system evaluation strategies along with the analysis of evaluation results. |
