Popis: | Recent research has shown that both species of parasites are much more widely established than was previously known. M. aethiops (Nees), a bivoltine, biparental parasite of adult Hypera postica (Gyllenhal), is now present in at least 47 counties in 11 States. M. colesi Drea. a univoltine, uniparental parasite which attacks alfalfa weevil larvae, is known now from at least 36 counties in 11 States. The available evidence indicates that the actual distributional limits of each species is even wider than that presented here. |
