Popis: | The purpose of our study is to analyze the relationship between the fast eye movements, i.e., “saccade”, and the electroencephalogram (EEG). The recorded EEG during saccade was analyzed with the independent component analysis (ICA) method. During visually guided saccade experiments, we observed a sharp change of the ICA signals more frequently immediately before eye movement than at other peak point of reference signals, while this was not the case under the condition of no eye movement. These results indicate that the phenomenon of signal change is possibly related to the motion processing of saccade, or to the attention to the visual stimulus. |
