Designing Dojo: A Collaborative Method for Teaching Design Patterns

Popis: The correct application of design is a challenge for undergraduate CS students since they have little experience with software design. In this way, alternative approaches are needed for teaching design patterns. We designed a collaborative method for teaching design patterns inspired by Coding Dojo called Designing Dojo. We applied Designing Dojo for teaching undergraduate students and asked their opinion about the method. The results showed that Designing Dojo could provide a practical and engaging experience for students learning design patterns.
