Popis: | The plummeting reserves and increasing demand of freshwater resources are responsible for a global water crisis. The process of desalination offers a solution to meet the growing water demands. However, the process of desalination is energy-intensive and has a large carbon footprint. Photovoltaic based DC power when coupled with desalination can achieve tremendous energy savings and cost reduction with negligible carbon emissions. |
