Popis: Members of the phylum Brachiopoda are predominantly sessile, filter-feeding marine invertebrates with a bivalved shell that, in adult life, is functionally divided into inhalant and exhalant chambers by a ciliated, tentaculate curtain-like feeding organ or lophophore.
