Popis: Used bicycle parts made from metal are often found in waste disposal or sold in flea markets. Metal waste still has economic value because it can be recycled. However, the process requires special equipment and only can be carried out on an industrial scale. Although still sold at flea markets, the problem is that not many bicycle parts buyers. Most spare parts are incompatible with the current bicycle model, so these items pile up in the seller’s stall. This paper will explain the process of upcycling bicycle parts for interior decoration. The aim is to increase these used parts’ economic value and reduce the demand for new materials to make interior decoration lamps. The lamp energy attached to the lampshade is also the focus of research to align with technological developments and obtain sustainable design solutions. This research method is an exploratory-creative approach that goes through four stages of development: define, design, production, application. The exploration of lampshade designs is expected to inspire the use of used goods to reduce waste to create sustainable designs. In addition, using smart-lighting on lampshade products can create an attractive interior atmosphere while saving energy and costs in line with the smart building concept.
