Popis: | Laser ablation of a bulk Ag target in aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide is experimentally studied. An ytterbium pulsed nanosecond near-IR laser is used as a laser source. The generated nanoparticles are characterized with the help of optical absorption spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Generated nanoparticles consist of stoichiometric Ag2O. Average size of nanoparticles of Ag2O is around 20 nm, and they can be used as antibacterial coating. |
