Popis:	We prepared a brand-new, bowl-shaped molecular architecture in one step from the reaction of ninhydrin and phloroglucinol in acetic acid in excellent yield (95%) in a one-pot reaction and the bipolarofacial nature of this compound was confirmed by its X-ray structure.
