Popis: | Hybrid cylindrical vector vortex beam (HCVVB) has attracted increasing attentions in recent years due to its unique highly focusing properties. In this work, by decomposing the HCVVB into the linear combination of radial and azimuthal polarization and project the focal field onto the circular polarization basis, we studied the Gouy phase and wave-front spacing of tightly focused HCVVB. It is found that the state of polarization directly affects the Gouy phase behaviors and wave-front spacing distribution in the focal region. By adjusting the polarization weight of the incident HCVVB, not only the distribution and symmetry of the Gouy phase near the focus would be changed, but also the wave-front spacing can be tuned from less than λ to nearly 2 λ Besides, the focusing condition and the topological charge of the light are found to influence the trend and symmetry of the Gouy phase and the effective wavelength. Our findings provide a way to understand the variation of phase structure in the focal region and may have applications in interferometry and metrology. |
