| Popis: | Many plasmapheresis patients (24% in our center) also require hemodialysis. We report here on techniques for performing both processes simultaneously in a single extracorporeal circuit containing both a hemodialyzer and a hollow fiber membrane plasma filter. The combination proved technically straightforward and maintained the known solute removal efficacy of both constituent processes. |
