A rotor position detection method at high speed for electrically excited synchronous motor is proposed. The mathematical model of electrically excited synchronous motor is built at first. The detailed theoretical analysis and mathematical derivation are given. An improved flux observer is proposed which can avoid zero drift problem. A normalized phase-locked loop is designed to calculate the rotor position. At last, The simulation results verifies the proposed rotor position detection method has feasibility. |
