This chapter describes networks with three polarized relays. Combinational networks with three three-position push-buttons are analyzed in the chapter. The chapter discusses the problem of constructing a network with three three-position push buttons A , β , and C so that: (1) if a single push button is in position II and the other two are switched off, or if two of them are in position II and the third in position I, or if two of them are in position I and the third is switched off, the motor runs in one direction; (2) if a single push button is in position I and the other two are switched off, or if two of them are in position I and the third in position II, or if two of them are in position II and the third is switched off, the motor runs in the opposite direction; and (3) in all other cases, the motor does not operate. |
