The effect of different organic acids on the aggregate stability of the BaTiO3 nanoparticles

Popis: In present work barium titanate obtained by the Pechini method has been modified with acidic, oxalic, malonic and tartaric acids in ethanol, buthanol and terpineol media. The suspension based on BaTiO 3 nanoparticles has been investigated with sedimentation analysis, infrared spectroscopy and gravimetric method to determine the amount of stabilized particles. Nitrogen thermal desorption method and SEM-analysis have been used for determining surface area and grain size of modified particles, respectively.
