Popis:	1. The complete scheme of the electrode process in the reduction of O,O-dimethyl-2,2,2-trichloro-1-hydroxyethylphosphinate on a dropping mercury electrode was established. 2. A hypothesis was advanced on the two-step character of the electrode reaction. 3. The first step of the electrode reaction was characterized on the basis of the theory of irreversible waves.
