Popis: Generation of high pulses using converter technology has become a wide range of application in Cancer cell treatment. The main objective of this project is to have a compact design model to produce high power pulses with high frequency in nanoseconds towards the treatment cancer cells which possess high frequency pulsed electric fields. To achieve the objective possible, pulse generator is designed with pulses having high frequency with a nonlinear transmission line (NLTL) using multiple switches such that output possess high frequency pulses. To obtain this from NLTL, a ladder structure of capacitors and inductors are required by introducing delay in propagation of each pulse using the magnetic switch of a ladder associated to it. Starting 13 MHz single pulse is obtained, later 150MHz pulse is achieved with the help of a coaxial structure instead of discrete components. It is evident that to burst a cancer cell multiple cells are more appropriate than a single pulse subjected to same conditions. This is resulted by developing a circuit with Full-wave bridge rectifier, IGBT and Linear transformers in MATLAB environment. In this work, the frequency of the pulses is incensed to rise up to 20MHz at a time period of 50 ns and the voltage is also improved up to 4000 V.
