This paper discusses the concept of fixed assets, features of the reproductive process in agriculture, and the process of updating fixed assets. Based on the analysis of the main development directions of the reproduction process of the material and technical base of agriculture, the disposal of fixed assets ahead of their input was noted, which makes it challenging to ensure the conditions for the economic development of agricultural organizations. The duration of the reproduction period of fixed assets can be influenced by various factors, especially the durability of their use. The economic nature of the distribution process can be a stimulus or a brake on the development of the production process. In a market economy, the main goal is to maximize profits, which serves to satisfy final needs. In modern agriculture, there is a loss of fixed capital of the industry. The conditions for its accumulation are not fulfilled, which is associated with the imperfection of the financial and economic mechanism in agriculture, the lack of support for the resource base of the industry. In market conditions, agricultural production requires government support. Also, the development of the reproduction process of fixed assets is cyclical (wave-like) in nature, which is associated with the pace of innovative development of the economy. |
