Popis: | Prediction of The Minimum Miscibility Pressure (MMP) of the Vaporizing Gas Drive (VGD) process is modeled using an equation of state with different mixing rules joined with a newly formulated expression for the unlike-three-body interactions between the injection gas and the reservoir fluid. The comparison of the numerical results with the available experimental data indicates that an equation of state alone overestimates the MMP. However, when the equation of state is joined with the unlike-three-body interaction term, the MMP will be predicted accurately. The proposed technique is used to develop a simple and reliable correlation for the accurate vaporizing gas drive MMR prediction. |
