Popis: The report reviews the studies of the phenomenon of magnetoacoustic emission (MAE) on samples of magnetite ores from various deposits. Cube-shaped samples with a size of 24x24x24 mm are magnetized in an alternating magnetic field with an amplitude of -150 to +150 kA/m and a frequency of 0.1 Hz. The following parameters are used as MAE parameters: the values of the magnetizing field at which the maxima of the magnetoacoustic emission values are observed; the amplitude of these maxima; the range of the magnetizing field in which magnetoacoustic emission is observed; the value of the magnetic field corresponding to half the range of the magnetic field of magnetoacoustic emission manifestation (median value). It is shown that the amplitude of MAE is ambiguously dependent on the magnetite content in the sample and that it is related to the presence of internal stresses. The shape of the MAE signals and the range of the magnetizing field depend on the degree of uniformity of magnetite and on the presence of other magnetic minerals. The presence of several generations of magnetite affects the shape of the MAE signal. In this paper, an attempt is made to relate the studied parameters of magnetoacoustic emission to the petrophysical characteristics of the studied ores, as well as with the behavior of the domain structure.
