The respiratory rate is an extremely important parameter indicating the quality of regulation in the human body which can be used to diagnose various respiratory system diseases as well as for monitoring the state of athletes during training, etc. This article presents an analysis of existing methods for recording the respiratory rate based on bioimpedanceometry and plethysmography using inductive and piezoelectric sensors. A block diagram of a wireless device that implements synchronous signal recording using all of these methods is shown. The software module in the MATLAB software for signal processing and calculation of the main significant parameters is presented. To implement the model of the device special Texas Instruments Analog Front Ends ADS1292R (for bioimpedance) and LDC1000 (for inductive plethysmography) were used. |
