Novel Concepts for Additional Functions of Smart PV Inverters

Popis: With the technological improvements the smart grid concept becomes more popular all over the world. As a main part of the grid, the smart inverter plays a main role in many ways. To control the system in high flexible and reliable way, some improvements in the smart inverter functions are required to give a better service. The main objective of this paper is to address some advanced functions and its control approach for islanded and grid connected smart inverters to provide an adjectival service and to improve the use of it. At the beginning of this paper, the existing functions and the issues of them are described. Then some concepts for improving the system to get the maximum usage is addressed with some controlling techniques. Then the advantages are given with a comparison between exist functions and the improvements, in order to give a better understanding.
